Elizabeth Marie Barton

Elizabeth "Beth" Marie Barton, 75, passed away on April 18, 2025, in Jefferson, Texas, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on October 23, 1949, in Jena, Louisiana, Beth was a woman of strength, deep love, and unshakable devotion to her family. She was known for her stubborn streak and her generous heart-qualities that made her both fierce and fiercely loyal. She would do anything for the people she loved, and above all, she loved her family-especially her husband, Joe Barton, who remained the center of her world. Beth is survived by her husband, Joe Barton; daughter Bobbie Ennis; granddaughter Kaitlin Ennis; and great-grandson Jace Broadway. She is also survived by her daughter Tanya Wilhelm and Tanya's husband JoJo Wilhelm; their daughters Kylie Wilhelm and Whitney Lockey; Whitney's husband Kelly Lockey and their children Karli Lockey, Avery Lockey, and Sawyer Lockey. Beth's love, strength, and unwavering presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Graveside service will be held on Monday, April 21, 2025 at 10:00am at Woodlawn Cemetery. Details regarding a memorial service will be announced by the family.
