Eddie Vaughn Morrow

The family of Eddie Vaughn Morrow of Longview Texas is saddened to announce his passing on October 9, 2021 at the age of 73.

Eddie Morrow was born May 1, 1948 in Longview Texas. He attended Spring Hill School District where he met and married the love of his Life Linda. He served as a Senior Lineman for 45 years with AEP/SWEPCO. He was the very definition of a hard working family man. He enjoyed spending his free time outdoors whether he was hunting, fishing or preparing to go hunt and fish. He treasured spending time and making memories with his grandchildren.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents Edward Eugene Morrow and Fern Lee Eley.

Those left to cherish their memories of Eddie include his wife of over 50 years Linda Morrow. Sons: Jim Morrow and his wife Tracie. Brian Morrow and his wife Kristin. Grandchildren: Blake and his wife Krista, Colton Morrow and Brilee Morrow. Great-Grandchild: Delta Lane Morrow. Sisters: Sheila Campbell and her late husband Jake Campbell, Rhonda Dearman and her husband Buddy Dearman. Brother: Max Morrow. As well as numerous other relatives and great friends. He will also be dearly missed by all of his friends at American Electric Power/SWEPCO.

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on October 14, 2021 between 6pm and 8pm in the Garden Court of Welch Funeral Home. A Life Celebration will be held at 10am on October 15, 2021 at Welch Funeral Home followed by a special message at Rosewood Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made in Eddie Vaughn Morrow's name to the American Cancer Society.
