Dwight Pennington Life Story

Dwight D Pennington, 69, of Longview , Texas, passed away on April 1, 2022. He was born to parents, Walter E Pennington and Mary Woods Pennington, on February 10, 1953 in Ironton, Ohio.

He met his wife, Sandra Johnson in high school. They were married on August 24, 1973 in Ironton, Ohio. Together they raised 2 children, Christopher and Erin.

Dwight loved hiking, riding motorcycles, target practicing with his children and grandchildren. He also loved to watch his grandchildren participate in sports.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Sandra; his two children, son Christopher; and daughter Erin; grandchildren, Alex; Adam; Lakin; Abby; and Landen; great grandson, Jameson; and brothers, Walt; Ray; Wayne; Rick; and Charles Pennington. He also leave many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Dwight was preceded in death by his parents, Walter E. Pennington and Mary Woods Pennington; and granddaughter, Alexandra Roel Pennington.
