Doris LaVerne (Williams) Giles

Doris Laverne Giles, aged 94, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2025 in Longview, TX. Born on November 14, 1930, to Herbert and Velma Williams, she was a resident of Longview, TX and was a graduate of Pine Tree High School.


She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bowman Lamar Giles, brothers, Ralph Williams, John Williams, Ray Williams, and sister, Naomi Perritt, daughter in law, Teresa Giles.


She is survived by her sister, Annette Paulk, and brother, Troy Williams, wife Corine Williams, son, Raymond Giles, daughter, Angela Allen, grandson, Nathan Allen, wife, Ashley Allen, granddaughters, Amethyst Keaton, husband, Jeff Keaton, Natalie Yoder, husband, Koby Yoder, and Raylea Giles-Gannon, husband, Jeremy Gannon, great grandson, Augustus Allen, great granddaughters, Kaylee Giles-Gannon, and Marryn Yoder, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.


Family, friends, and others are invited to Welch Funeral Home, Thursday June 5, 2025, from 5 PM until 7 PM for visitation. Funeral services will be held at Welch Funeral Home Friday, June 6, 2025, at 10 AM.
