Donald Spencer Life Story
Donald Spencer, a longtime resident of Longview, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at the age of 34 years old. He was born on January 1, 1986.
Donald was a very free spirited person. He was a gentle giant that loved big and very deep. Donald knew how to let his inner child come out and play. He had a tremendous love for animals and all were drawn to that love. Donald loved spending time with family and friends. He was a big fan of the casinos and loved to eat at Superior Bar and Grill.
He is survived by his partner, Michael Satterwhite as well as his mother, Mary Spencer and siblings, Amy Hill and David; Angela Thomas and Cody; Scott Watson and Jennifer; Mark Watson and Stephanie; and Billy Spencer. He had numerous nieces and nephews, Shayna Garland and Jake; Tucker and Kinzlee Hill; Toby and Jolie Thomas; Peyton and Karsyn Watson; Nick and Chloe Crouch; Sawyer Watson; Noah and Savannah Ditonto; and Hunter Spencer; two great nieces, Harper and Everlee Garland. He also leaves behind extended family members, Amanda Barnett and Kevin; Matthew Satterwhite and Gladys; Kaitlyn and Kyle Barnett along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A Life Celebration® funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, February 28th, 2020, in the Chapel of Welch Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Thursday, February 27th, 2020, in the Garden Court of Welch Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Scott Watson, Mark Watson, Billy Spencer, David Hill, Cody Thomas and Kevin Barnett.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests monetary donations to help assist with funeral expenses.
