Donald Wayne Cerliano passed from this life into his eternal home on April 14, 2022. He was born to Frank Cerliano and Louise Wallace Cerliano, on March 8, 1947, in Longview, Texas where he was a lifelong resident.
Don came to salvation in Jesus Christ in 1972. He developed a passion for sharing his faith and leading others to know Jesus Christ. After receiving his license to preach the gospel on February 11, 1973, he went on to minister in nursing homes, children's church, and on bus routes. He led many children, teenagers, and adults to having faith in Jesus Christ.
He married Gail Frazier Cerliano on June 29, 1973, and they were blessed with two children, Donna and Terry. After receiving his associate's degree in business from Kilgore College, Don went on to work for Gibson's Discount Center, Corner Store, White Oak Food Store, and McDonald's Restaurant. He worked as a maintenance technician for twenty-two years. Don enjoyed traveling, camping, and visiting museums.
Don is survived by his wife, Gail; daughter, Donna Cerliano; son, Terry Cerliano and wife, Rhoda; sister, Rebecca Cerliano; as well as brother, Maxey Cerliano and wife, Cathy. He is also survived by his grandchildren, James; Maria; Jacob; Anthony; Alex; Avery; and Valarie; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
