Don Hearron, 73, of White Oak, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home on December 16, 2024. He was born on December 23, 1950, in Gladewater, Texas to parents Gerald Wayne and Virgie Hearron (Stanley). Don married Carolyn Hearron (Hill) on November 25, 1972. Together, they built a life filled with love, raising three children: Bryan, Amy, and Christi. Growing up in White Oak he excelled in many sports including selection as an all-state QB for the White Oak Roughnecks before going on to play at Kilgore College and finishing his degree in Finance from East Texas State University. He spent nearly 30 years as a foreman at Lone Star Steel before closing out his career working as a pipe manufacturing consultant to companies across the US. Don was a man who loved his family deeply, was a wonderful husband and father, and followed Christ. He dedicated his entire life to meeting the needs of his family with his interests in studying financial markets, old country music, westerns, football, and grilling steaks. Surviving Don is his loving wife, Carolyn; son and daughter-in-law Bryan and Jennifer Hearron, daughter and son-in-law Christi and Chris Tittle, daughter Amy Hearron; his grandchildren, Connor, Nate, Nory Mae Hearron, Tanner, Tucker, Trista Tittle; brother Wayne Hearron; and in-laws Barbara Fergus, Pamela (Hill) and Richard Minor. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald Wayne and Virgie, sister Georgia Minter, and grandson Lincoln Charles Hearron. A Life Celebration Visitation for Don will be held at The Cammack Family, Welch Funeral Home on Thursday, December 19, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family recommends donations to the Gold Network of East Texas. Lastly, we'd like to extend a special thank you to those who helped care for him in Dr. Michael Morris, Heart to Heart Hospice, and Center Well Home Health.
