Delores White Life Story
Delores "Dee" White was received into the arms of her Savior on November 1, 2023. She was born October 24, 1933, to William Henry Dudley and Susan Bradley Dudley in Casper, Wyoming.
She married the love of her life, James "Jim" White in Casper on July 23, 1956. In 1961, Jim's job brought the couple to Longview, and soon after their son Mike was brought into their lives. The couple were faithful members of Oakland Heights and First Baptist Church. Dee sang in the choir and taught Children's Sunday School for many years. She has touched the lives of many people through her service to the Lord. She was retired from Longview ISD after many years in the Payroll Department.
Dee was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jim and son, Mike; and Billy Parr. She is survived by her special family, Xenia and Harvey Durham, Dianne Parr, Paula Thomas and Lance Early, Sandy and Steve Whitehurst as well as the children and grandchildren of her special family.
The family would like to thank Grace Raney and Ann Riley for their friendship, as well as the staff at Buckner Jonquil House for their loving care since she became a resident in 2016. We also wish to thank Jennifer Swigart and the staff of Heart to Heart Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to First Baptist Church Children's Ministry or the charity of your choice.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at The Cammack Family Welch Funeral Home located at 4619 Judson Road, Longview, Texas. Online condolences may be left at CammackFamily.com.
