Daniel Anthony Boone

In loving memory of Douglas "Daniel" Anthony Boone, a father of three and a skilled millwright. Daniel is preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Boone; his brother, John Boone II; and his grandson, Caleb Blasdel.

Daniel honed his construction and millwright skills working and constructing several factories and plants throughout Texas before working at a steel factory in East Texas and a petroleum plant on the Gulf Coast. Daniel never met a stranger, and developed relationships wherever he went.

Daniel is survived by his children, James Boone and wife, Lucy; Denyse Blasdel and husband, Brady; and Anthony Boone and wife, Kristi. He leaves behind a legacy through his grandchildren, Ethan Blasdel; Carter Boone; Hollie Boone; Natalie Boone; and Aaron Blasdel. He also has extended family in South Texas and Eastern Tennessee.

A Life Celebration for Douglas "Daniel" Anthony Boone will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 29, 2024, in the Chapel of Welch Funeral Home. The family would like to invite friends for a time of visitation one hour prior to the start of the service.
