Carl Wendell Beattie

A Celebration of life service was held for Carl W. Beattie on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Harleton Baptist Church in Harleton, Tx.
Carl Beattie was born on August 19, 1943 and passed away peacefully on December 25, 2024.
In his youth Carl fell in love with the game of baseball. He played for many years in Denver City, Tx where he grew up. He later began coaching baseball and coached for 20 years.
He worked as an electrician and an installer for AT&T for thirty years which offered some quality traveling for both him and our mother.
He was a hardworking family man who loved spending time with his family.


Carl is preceded in death by his parents Claude Beattie and Ruby(Philips) Beattie, his wife of 55 years Dixie(Redwine) Beattie, his son Mark Beattie.
Left to remember him is his Sister Claudia Sue Ferguson of Denver City, TX, his two children Michael L. Beattie and wife Heike, Suzanne (Beattie)Barnes and husband Tim. Also, his six grandsons Kory Beattie and wife Kendall, Tanner Beattie, Brant Beattie, Bryan Baker and wife Chrysse, Philip Beattie, Christian Barnes. He also has a granddaughter Emily Beattie. He was also blessed with three great grandchildren. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.


The service for Carl was livestreamed on Facebook for any family and friends who could not be there. It is still posted on the Harleton Baptist Church Facebook page for anyone want to view the service.
