Obituary

Blanche Virginia Fritz, age 79 of Longview, Texas passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020. Born August 2, 1941 in South Amboy, New Jersey. She was a graduate of Hoffman High School in 1958. Her life’s journey took her to many areas of the country before settling down in Longview, Texas in 1992. She worked for 10 years at Longview Regional Hospital in the business office. Blanche volunteered at the Longview Animal Shelter, Literacy reading program, and CASA. She was an active member of Moberly Baptist Church, attending Sunday school and volunteering for many church activities.

She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and enjoyed spending time with family. She enjoyed painting, arts and crafts, and being near the water, whether it was at the lake or the beach.

Preceded in death by her husband Robert E Fritz, parents Frank and Virginia Estelle, and one brother Frank Estelle Jr.

She is survived by one sister, Geraldine Freeman, and one brother, Michael Estelle, one son, Robert E. Fritz Jr, one daughter, Kathleen Rice, grandson Christopher Rice, grandaughter Britiani Rice, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday, December 31, 2020, at 10:00am in the chapel of Welch Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
