A Life Celebration Gathering of Friends will be held on Monday, March 31, 2025, from 1-3 p.m. at the Cammack Family Welch Funeral Home for Mr. Billy Ray Webb.
Billy Ray Webb was born on February 23, 1935, to Dub Webb and Violet Lorene Pettifer. Dub Webb and Violet Lorene Webb had five kids: Billy, Patricia, Donald, Linda, and Glenda. Billy was a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Billy Webb was a member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation tribe, Sacred Keepers of the Fire. Billy Webb went on to serve his country with honor in the United States Navy.
Billy married Margaret Lucille Simmons, and together they raised their kids: Richard Milner, Deborah Webb, Dennis Webb, Kenneth Webb, and grandson Randy Webb. Billy had 10 grandchildren: Randy Webb, James Smith, Heather Smith, Dustin Webb, Nathan Webb, Hannah Webb, Haley Webb, Grace Kelly, Logan Kelly, and Barbara Kelly, followed by 14 great-grandchildren. Billy was also survived by nieces and nephews Robbie, Rocky, Rodney, Rally, and Cheri Campbell, Barry Ivy, Terry, Billy, and Sean, and Billy's sister Patricia and her husband, Bob Dobesh, as well as Billy's aunt Nelda Seever and family, Patsy Ann Simmons, sister-in-law and family. Billy Webb was preceded in death by his parents, Dub Webb and Violet Lorene Pettifer Webb Richardson, his daughter Deborah Webb, and wife Lucille Webb, brother Donald Webb, and his friend and companion Jane Southerland.
Gone but never forgotten, always in our hearts forever. Billy also had a smile that was infectious and would always tell you 'Merry Christmas.' He had a love for dancing and helping others. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude and thanks to Hospice of East Texas for their help and hospitality, especially Stacy, Jessica, and Melissa. Y'all were all amazing and dear to our hearts. We are forever thankful for the compassion y'all showed. Thank you
