Funeral services for Betty Bonita Wilson, 90, of Longview, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 27, 2024, at The Cammack Family Welch Funeral Home in Longview Texas. Rev. Craig Evers will be officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at The Cammack Family Welch Funeral Home. Betty Bonita Hickman was born November 29, 1933, in Harrison County Texas to Buster and Bertie Lee (Grigsby) Hickman, she passed away peacefully on September 24, 2024, in Longview, Texas. Mrs. Wilson was a homemaker and excellent baker. She enjoyed meeting and serving people. She worked in several sales and service positions; her favorite however was Avon where she excelled. Betty and her husband Virgil loved traveling and making new friends. She loved spoiling her kids and grandkids with delicious pecan pies and homemade Christmas candy named critters. Betty was a member of Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Longview where she was baptized. She loved her Sunday School class. Mrs. Wilson is survived by her sister, Linda Moore of Longview; and her four daughters, Debra Allen Alford and spouse, Mark; Pixie Lynn Green and spouse, Thomas of Harleton; Suzanne Mahfood of Tyler; and Frankie Jo Raney and spouse, Tom of Longview. Also surviving Mrs. Wilson are 13 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Mrs. Wilson is also survived by several nieces and great nieces and nephews. Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her parents, Buster and Bertie Hickman; her first husband, Daniel Lee Allen; a grandson, Eli Alford; her sister, Delores; her nephew, Roland; and niece, Paula.
