Barry Carlton Life Story

Barry Joe Carlton was called to his heavenly home September 30, 2021. He was born on January 10, 1962 to Nina and AH Carlton.

He loved to travel, try new things and was somewhat of a cook and "foodie." He would insist everyone just "try it" if he liked it. Barry was also an avid outdoorsman, he was passionate about cattle, hunting and fishing.

A long-time employee of AC Contractor's, Barry prided himself in providing excellent service to his customers. He even had some request him specifically.

He was very proud of his children and grandchildren, whom he loved unconditionally. He cherished the time that he was able to spend with his family. Barry Joe was dearly loved by his family in marriage and spent countless hours on the family farm. He was always there for family and friends, giving so freely of his time and talents.

Barry's fondest gift was a bible, given to him by his wife, which he read every night. His family takes great comfort in knowing he is safe in the arms of our heavenly father.

Barry is survived by his wife, Dawn; daughter and son in law, Ashley and Chris Davison; son and daughter in law, Wesley "Bubba" and Mandy Carlton; daughters, Lauren Ricossa and Marla Jones; son & daughter in law, Matthew and Laurel Wright; his beloved grandchildren, Dalton Davison; Caleb and Delaney Carlton; Blake Ricossa; and Easton Jones; as well as his family in marriage that loved him as their own, the Sharp Family.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, October 4, 2021 at 9:00 A.M. at Smyrna Cemetery in Harrison County with Craig Evers officiating.
