Bailey Keith Baker

Bailey Keith Baker was born on January 7th, 1978, in Longview, Texas and passed away on March 6th, 2021, in Longview. Bailey grew up in White Oak, Texas graduating from White Oak High School and from Texas State Technical College. In high school Bailey was very active in athletics, playing baseball, football and track all of his high school years. After graduating from TSTC, he worked as an industrial maintenance technician. Bailey was known for his kind heart and sweet smile. He enjoyed all outdoor activities, but most of all bass fishing and collecting artifacts.

Bailey is survived by his parents, Lindy and Mary Doug Baker of Longview, Texas and brother, James Douglas Baker of Longview, Texas. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Evelyn Baker and Doug and Loreta Thompson. Bailey is also survived by 24 first cousins from the Baker family; Aunt Judy Shaver of Horseshoe Bay, Texas and her children, Kristen Baker and Kelley Berley.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 10th, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Emmanuel Baptist Church, White Oak, Texas and a time of visitation at the Welch Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 9th, 2021, from 6:00-8:00 PM.

Memorials may be made in Bailey's name to the Hiway 80 Rescue Mission, Men's Discipleship Program, PO Box 3223, Longview, Texas 75606.
