Audrey Adeline Fraser went to be with her eternal father on September 26, 2024, at the age of 99, in Humble, TX. Audrey was born on November 13, 1924, in the home of her Taylor grandparents, near Florien, LA. Her parents, James Andrew and Tera Taylor Tyler, lived in Fisher, LA at the time. She was often told that she resembled her daddy, and her nickname was "Little Jimmy". Her family moved to Zwolle, LA when she was in third grade where they lived across the street from her grandparents and aunts. They moved to Many, LA when she was in the eighth grade and that is where she first met her husband, Louis Eugene Fraser. Audrey graduated from Many High School as salutatorian in 1941. She then went to Northwestern State College and earned a degree in business administration with a minor in mathematics in May of 1945. After she finished college, she worked with the Federal Security Agency as an adjustment clerk in New Orleans, LA until she got married. After six years of courtship, she married Louis Fraser on August 17, 1945, at her parents' home in Many, LA. While Louis was in school at LSU, she worked as a secretary for the assistant director of libraries on the LSU campus. She grew up attending First Baptist Church in Many and later became a member of St. Mark's Methodist Church in Marshall, TX where she sang in the church choir for 41 years. Audrey spent her life devoted to her family and her faith. She grew up playing tennis and basketball. She loved playing the piano and would play for Sunday School each Sunday at First Baptist Church in Many, LA. She was even taken out of school to play the piano at funerals. She learned to swim in college, learned to drive a car on her honeymoon, and owned her first bicycle at the age of 60. She never hesitated to try something new. She got her love of singing from her dad and as her family grew, they spent many gatherings singing around the piano. Another favorite pastime of Audrey's was spending time in the kitchen and cooking for loved ones. Her family will always remember her fried chicken and delicious chocolate pies. Her favorite sayings were "count your blessings" and "live one day at a time". She truly embodied both of those sayings all 99 years of her beautiful life on earth. She is survived by her three children: son, Jim Fraser of Houston, TX; daughter, Jane Bowling of Humble, TX; son and daughter-in-law, Tom and JoLynn Fraser of Montgomery, TX. Along with 8 grandchildren: Mathew Fraser, Steven Fraser, Tyler Bowling, Lindsey Hannemann, Adam Bowling, Justin Fraser, Amy Fraser, and Georg Burgess. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren: Makenzie Fraser, Clara Fraser, Jude Fraser, Toby Capes, Nicole Hannemann, Carson Hannemann, Abigail Bowling, Catherine Bowling, Remington Fraser, Rylann Fraser and many other family and friends. She was preceded to heaven by her parents, James Andrew Tyler and Tera Taylor Tyler; her husband, Louis Fraser; and her son-in-law, Michael Bowling. Pallbearers will be Mathew Fraser, Steven Fraser, Justin Fraser, Adam Bowling, Don Hannemann, Richard Creed, John Creed, and Jim Bison. Honorary pallbearers are Rick Long and Tyler Bowling.
