Shirley Ann Perry

Shirley Ann Perry was born on March 19, 1932 in FT. Worth Texas. She passed from this life on September 4, 2019 at the age of 85.
She was born Shirley Ann Winters to Joe and Hester Winters. Shirley grew up on various dairy farms in and around Ft. Worth that her father worked for. She married Weldon C. Perry on September 7, 1951. They had four children, Patricia Graham, Weldon Perry Jr., Melinda Holley, and William Perry. She was an avid home maker and enjoyed hand quilting and gardening. She also enjoyed festive holiday cooking for her large family. She and Weldon were one of the founders of Calvary Baptist Church in Gladewater Texas where they worshipped for many years.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents Joe and Hester Winters, her brothers Joe Allen, Willie Winters, husband Weldon C. Perry, and son Weldon C. Perry Jr.
She is survived by her children; daughters Patricia Graham, Melinda Holley, and son William Perry. Four grandchildren; granddaughter Alesha Roeschke, granddaughter Lori Huff and husband Craig, grandson Timothy Harrell, granddaughter Audrey Oliver and husband Joshua. Great grandchildren Emily, Kindall, Faith, Hailey, Josh Luke. And daddy’s one-eyed cat Milo.
She was much beloved by many friends and family and touched many more lives with her strong faith. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A Life Celebration f will be held Monday, September 9, 2019 at Calvary Baptist Church in Gladewater at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will immediately follow in Lakeview Memorial Garden.
