Matthew Pina Life Story
Matthew Jesus (Mateo) Pina, age 22, of Longview, Texas passed away on Tuesday, July 23rd, 2019. He was born on October 13th, 1996, in San Diego, California to Tericea Denise Matthews and Javier Pina.
He graduated from Lead High School and had many friends throughout Longview. He played football, soccer and basketball when he was a young boy. As he got older he enjoyed playing video games especially Fortnite and NBA 2K. Mateo was a caring person with a big smile and happy bouncy walk. He enjoyed being social with his friends and his dog, Chief. Mateo had a love for animals and always enjoyed going to the zoo and Sea World to see the dolphins.
He is survived by his Father, Mother, Popo, Wella, and two sisters.
A Life Celebration will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Welch Funeral Home from 1:00 P.M. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M.
