Leland Wayne Johnson

Leland Wayne Johnson was born on February 24, 1935 in Panola County, Texas and died on November 13, 2019 in Longview, Texas.
Mr. Johnson loved his family, spending time outside and cooking. He loved to watch Nascar, Shepherds Chapel and beautiful knives and Bluegrass Music. He was a very hard-working welder and loved to stay busy. Mr. Johnson had a big heart, and cared deeply about the ones he loved. He was always cracking jokes and known to be very funny. Mr. Johnson had a strong love for God and loved to listen to Arnold Murray preach and teach about the bible. Banana pudding, peanuts and fried pies were his favorite treats.
Survivors include his children, Jean Rodriguez of Tyler, Jennifer Johnson of Shreveport, Cecil Johnson of Shreveport, Sidney Johnson of New Mexico, Alexis Johnson of Longview, Sheryl Rowe of Alabama, Dewayne Thomas of Alabama, Garry Thomas of Longview, Frankie Thomas of Longview. His wife, Hazel Jean Johnson and daughter, Teresa Johnson, precede him in death.
