Julie Marie Peurifoy

   Julie Marie Peurifoy passed away October 9, 2019. She was born on August 19, 1961 in California To Robert and Lois Bretz and live in Michigan before moving to Texas. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Bretz. She is survived by her loving husband, Daniel Peurifoy; daughters, Tara Aycock, Lindsay Peurifoy; her sisters, Karen Blanton and Delphine Martin, granddaughters, Brenna and Mayleigh Aycock; and her mother, Lois Bretz as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, and a nephew. Julie also is survived by several friends and church groups that she loved like family.
   
   As we sat down to prepare her services, we were faced with the having to think about her life in its entirety. The conclusion came down to the simple fact being, if she loved you it was with her whole heart. She would come to your aid if needed, defend you if able, and love you unconditionally. Julie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and above all else, a Christ follower. She loved the Lord and that was who gave her the ability to love the was able and to forgive freely.
   
   “And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.” Revelation 14:13
   
   “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9

   The family of Julie Peurifoy will receive friends for a time of remembrance and visitation on Sunday, October 13, 2019, in the Garden Court of Welch Funeral Home.
