Joseph Keehne Life Story

Joseph (Junky Joe) Keehne, a 24-year resident of Longview, was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on December 13, 1948, to Charles Sr and Mary Range Keehne. He was an Assembly Technician for General Motors for 30 years. He retired from General Motors in December 2002. He passed from this life to the next on Saturday, September 21, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Mary Keehne, father-in-law and mother-in-law Charles and Alice Woods, son-in-law Robert LaMay, brother Julian Keehne, brother-in-law Raymond Woods, and sister-in-law Jean Woods.
Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Lola Keehne of Longview, daughter Lisa LaMay of Longview, daughter Kimberly Smith (“Humbug”) of Longview, son, Joseph Jr (Joe Boy) and wife Leslie Keehne of Longview. Granddaughter Alexis Smith (“Humbug Jr”), grandson Zachary Smith (Haole Boy), grandson Tristin LaMay (Chicano Boy), granddaughter Kaylee LaMay (Pakei Girl), granddaughter Morgan Keehne (Makanani), and grandson Parker Keehne all from Longview. Brother and Charles and wife Colleen Keehne of Las Vegas Nevada; sister Rachel Keehne of Keaau, Hawaii; sister-in-law Marcia and husband Russ Lechtenberg of Bloomingdale, Illinois; brother in law Jack Woods of Cairo, GA; sister-in-law Bertha and husband Zeke Bellows of Davidson, Michigan. Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be 6 to 8PM, Wednesday, September 24, 2019 at Welch Funeral Home. Life Celebration services will be 11Am, Thursday, September 25, 2019 at Longview Missionary Baptist Church.
