Jonathan “Jon” Wade Newberry Jon was born in Paris, Texas on January 13, 1981, and graduated from Chisum High School in 1999. After graduating Jon finished his basic training with the Army National Guard where his chemical training aided him in his career choice in Public Works, where he continued his career with a position with the City of Hallsville until his death. Jon’s hobby was fishing. He could sit beside a pond all day long. Jon leaves behind three sons to treasure his memory, Jonathan Tyler Newberry of Omaha, Texas; Jacob Lane Newberry and Jareb Daniel Newberry of Longview, Texas; mother of his children, Bellevia Newberry of Longview; and his significant other, Trena Smith of Longview; two sisters, Jennifer Keller of Sulphur Springs, Texas; and Holly Bates of Paris; two brothers, Joseph Newberry and Amber of Paris; and Lesley Newberry of Paris; mother, Susie Lamb of Naples, Texas; his father, George and Nancy Newberry of Paris, Texas; grandmother, Lou Tuck of Naples, Texas; and grandfather, William Lamb of Milton, Florida. Jon was Preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Roy Gilmore and paternal grandparents, Teenie and Ralph Newberry Jon also leaves two nephews, a niece, and host of aunts, uncles and cousins that dearly love him and will miss him.
