Bobbie Wade Life Story
Bobbie Bonner Wade, of Longview, passed away June 4, 2019, at Good Shepherd Hospital, surrounded by her family. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 6, at Welch Funeral Home, with graveside services Friday, June 7, 10:00 a.m. at Memory Park Cemetery, Longview.
Bobbie was born in DeBerry, TX, October 29, 1927, to Thomas and Ella Bonner. She graduated from Longview High School in 1945, and was a lifelong resident of Longview. She retired from Resistol Hat Company after 29 years of service.
Bobbie is survived by her daughter, Mary, of Longview, sons, Ronald of Longview and Donald and his wife, Leona, of Willow Park, TX, her brother Benny and wife Julie of Kilgore, in addition to 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, and childhood and lifelong friend, Faye Whitis. Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Steve, son Thomas, sister Mary and several brothers, grandson Ronnie, great granddaughter Emily, and great grandsons Shawn and Kevin.
The family would like to thank the staff at Highland Pines Nursing Home for wonderful service provided over the past six years, and the ER staff at Good Shepherd Hospital.
